1800 - PRS Series
Pressure Reducing System:
4", 6", 12"
Primary Application:
Designed for areas with high and/or widely fluctuating water pressure.
|
| Another option to save money is to use the
Pressure Reducing System. What this does is prevents misting and excess water.
On the typical 65 feet by 125 foot lot, with an average 65 pounds of static
water pressure, you would save $335 annually. Ask our design
specialist for potential savings on your property.
|
Features:
|
-
The 1800 PRS Series has all 1800 Series features, plus:
-
PATENTED PRS pressure regulator built into the stem. No parts to be
installed at the site.
-
Maintains constant outlet pressure at 30 psi (2 Bars). Spray heads and
nozzles perform best at 30 psi. Ensures maximum performance, even with
varying inlet pressures. Maintains constant pressure regardless of nozzle
used.
-
Restricts water loss by up to 70 % if nozzle is removed or damaged. Saves
water and money. Reduces possibility of accidents and property damage.
Recommended for vandal prone areas.
-
Ends misting and fogging caused by high pressure. Stops water waste.
Ensures necessary watering occurs in high pressure or wind conditions.
-
Designed for use with all Rain Bird plastic and brass spray head nozzles.
-
"PRS" stamped on cap for easy identification and maintenance.
|
 |

Slow closing to prevent water hammer and subsequent system damage.
-
Manual internal bleed operates the valve without allowing water into the valve
box. Allows pressure regulator to be adjusted without turning the valve
on at the controller first.
-
One-piece solenoid design with captured plunger and spring for easy servicing.
Prevents loss of parts during field service.
-
Non-rising flow control handle adjusts water flow as needed.
-
Accommodates optional, field-installed PRS-B pressure regulating module to
ensure maximum sprinkler performance.
-
Accepts latching solenoid for use with Rain Bird battery-operated controllers.
