Step One: Getting To Know You And Your Landscape
We know that time is your most valuable asset. Most people are so busy that they don’t have the time, desire or expertise to sort through mountains of sprinkler system information or the several hundred contractors in the Dallas Metroplex. In fact, most people only know one or two of the smart water conservation advantages of a new sprinkler system.
CGreen’s first priority is making the process of obtaining greener grass and trouble-free watering as quick and as simple for you as possible, so we’ve compiled some questions to help you with choosing an irrigation contractor and the importance of choosing a Rain Bird “Select Contractor” to install your sprinkler system. Step Two: Assessment Of Your Property
One of our design consultants will visit your property to check the water pressure, meter size and location, the existing landscape and discuss any planned landscape changes that will affect the sprinkler design. However, it may not be necessary to meet with the consultant at this time, if there will not be any changes to your landscape. But, we will need to have your permission to be on your property and you will need to make sure all gates are unlocked so that we have full access to the grounds.
Once the property assessment is complete, the consultant will return to our office. Based on your landscape design and specific requirements, we’ll design a customized automatic sprinkler system to meet your needs. We use computer aided design software to help illustrate the sprinkler system and ensure the water coverage will fit your unique landscape design. Most importantly, the sprinkler system will be designed to achieve a systematic, even water distribution over the entire landscape without wasting water.

Step Three: Automatic Sprinkler Design Presentation
With so many different sprinkler system manufacturers and hundreds of contractors in the North Dallas area, who has the time and expertise to design the best automatic sprinkler system for your property?

Upon the completion of your new landscape irrigation design, CGreen’s Landscape Consultant will meet with you to present our design for your property’s customized sprinkler system. Our consultant will present actual product recommendations, your questions will be answered, and any necessary changes will be noted to finalize the design. Upon the completion of our meeting, you will be given an Official Bid for your customized sprinkler system.
You are then on your way to greener grass and trouble-free watering.
Step Four: Installation Of Your New Automatic Sprinkler System
This is when our uniformed installation crew will neatly and efficiently install your sprinkler system. Upon completion of the installation, one of our landscape irrigation specialists will meet with you for a quality control walk-through. They will check the system for your final approval, and review the system with you to explain the features and assist you in programming the timer to your preference. CGreen will guarantee your new sprinkler system’s materials and labor for THREE YEARS. This includes damage done by lawn mowers and edgers, but excludes theft, vandalism, or acts of God.

- Before gluing pipe and fittings, a primer is used to ensure a long life. CGreen performed this quality measure long before the State of Texas required all contractors to begin doing so.
- We typically use 15′ sprinkler heads and 17′ triangular spacing to make sure there is consistent water coverage throughout your property.
- Our trenches are dug 12″ – 15″ deep and water packed to prevent settling and freezing or possibility of pipes or wires being cut (in case of future landscape changes or other reasons.)
- New sprinkler systems are designed by experienced professionals. A design is created specifically for your lawn to ensure maximum efficiency and uniform coverage for healthier landscapes.
- Balanced pressure electric valves with dry splice wire connectors are installed in your valve boxes for a much longer system life.
- We provide you an As-Built Plan when we are done so that new sprinkler systems are well documented and easily understood by the owner.
- Upon completion, we are onsite to perform a complete walk through of the entire landscape irrigation system with you and present a clear invoice for payment.
